Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown 'slays' as she channels Disney favourite in stunning pool snaps

Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown has 'slayed' according to her co-star as she stunned a number of pool snaps. The actress couldn't have looked happier in the images taken during a recent break as she looked a far cry from the rainy streets of Weatherfield.

Channique, who plays Dee-Dee Bailey in the ITV soap, could be seen sporting a black Calvin Klein swimsuit as she made the most of what appeared to be a rooftop pool in Portugal. In the first image, she looked gorgeous as she beamed for the camera while pulling herself up onto the wooden sides.

In a second image, Channique looked just as stunning as she gave a more serious look towards the camera, resting her head in one hand while her sunglasses sat on top of her head and her red locks flowed down her back in braids.

And the soap star couldn't help but compare herself to a Disney favourite as she wrote in the caption of her post: "Ariel, eat ure heart out." But her Corrie co-stars, fans and followers were quick to suggest she was better than the Little Mermaid.

Elle Mulvaney, who plays Amy Barlow in the ITV soap, replied: "Slayyyyy," while Abi Webster actress Sally Carman-Duttine commented: "Ariel WISHES!" with a string of love heart eyes emojis.
