Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has spent a quarter of a century working alongside Tina O'Brien but it's only this week he's admitted to making what may seem to be an obvious observation. The pair are currently involved in the 'Super Soap Week' drama which reaches its climax on Friday night (October 13).

The episode will finally see Stephen Reid exit the cobbles but at the moment, how - and exactly what he does before he leaves Weatherfield - viewers have got to tune in to see. But what is certain is that Stephen's reign of terror will reach a dramatic crescendo on the cobbles, more than a year after he made a sudden return from Milan to be reunited with the Platts.

So far this week, Stephen has launched a shocking attack on Tim after he discovered the car roof box with Teddy's body hidden inside in the canal. Then, there was fears for his mum Audrey when she went missing following after confronting her son for stealing the equity from her house, after he stole almost £250,000 from Underworld.

When it was eventually seen that Audrey was safe, Stephen was still on the run. The police heading to the wrong airport as Stephen made a last-minute change and went to Liverpool John Lennon Airport instead of Manchester. However, as he nervously shared his request at the check-in desk, he faced a setback when he handed over his passport only for it to be missing.

And just when viewers thought we’d seen the worst of sinister killer Stephen, cornered and trapped on the street, this is the moment he turns on those he loves most and we see
