Coronation Street star sent gushing message by new beau after dapper appearance with soap family

Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has been sent a gushing message from his new beau as he put on a dapper appearance at the National Television Awards. The actor was among the ITV soap's cast who swapped Manchester for London as they attended the annual star-studded bash at the O2.

Corrie was up for a handful of gongs at the biggest night in the TV calendar of the year, with both Charlotte Jordan and Maureen Lipman shortlisted in the 'Drama Performance' category, Channique Sterling-Brown up for the 'Rising Star' gong and the soap itself going for 'Serial Drama'.

But it wasn't to be on the night and the stars didn't get to bring a piece of silverware back up to Salford with them. The stars of the cobbles have since been sharing snaps to social media from the glitzy night out in the capital and they clearly caught the attention of Dan's partner.

It's been a few weeks since the Billy Mayhew actor went 'Instagram official' with his new man. The actor shared his first photo on social media alongside his boyfriend Jordan Coulthard at the end of July. In it, Dan, who is known for playing Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap, could be seen beaming down the lens of the camera as he stood alongside Jordan, who is reportedly a police officer and musician.

Alongside the photo, Daniel wrote to his 144,000 followers: "Very proud of this one @_coulthard. His latest single is out today!! #GoldenBrown. Check it out! The link is in his bio." And Jordan was quick to respond, sweetly telling Dan: "And thank you for standing by my side," alongside a red heart emoji.
