Coronation Street spoilers as Stephen Reid 'returns' with Jenny discovery and there's an offer for the Rovers

Next week, Stephen Reid 'returns' to the cobbles as Jenny Connor makes a discovery in Coronation Street. It's been weeks now since the broke businessman-turned-serial killer was bumped off by Peter Barlow, bringing his dastardly reign over the cobbles to an end.

But despite Audrey Roberts' son being gone, he's left a trail of devastation in his wake, with Jenny unable to get the Rovers back after planning to leave for Thailand and Carla Connor desperately trying to stop Underworld from going bust after Stephen stole from the business account.

In upcoming scenes in the ITV soap, Audrey shows Stephen’s belongings to Jenny and asks her if there’s anything she’d like. Jenny takes his laptop, explaining that she used to borrow it from time to time. But when David suggests she should throw Stephen’s diary in the bin as she’ll find it upsetting, Audrey won’t hear of it, adamant that he wasn’t all bad.

Elsewhere, having gained permission from Waterfords, Daniel Osbourne shows Daisy Midgley into the empty Rovers and suggests that rather than buying a flat in Redbank, they buy the pub instead - leaving Daisy gobsmacked.

Jenny and Ken Barlow are thrilled whenDaisy breaks the news to Jenny that she and Daniel are buying the pub but Daisy is thrown when Daniel tells her he hopes the next step will be her adopting Bertie. Later, the penny drops for Ryan Connor when Daniel makes a throwaway comment about the gym job. He tells Daisy he thinks Daniel knows about them and sabotaged the job, explaining to her about the video.
