Coronation Street spoiler videos for next week: Toyah held hostage after kidnap, Elaine makes discovery and Courtney arrives

There's plenty of drama in Weatherfield next week with a kidnap, a murder plan discovery and the start of a steamy affair. It all starts in Coronation Street on Monday, July 17, when Toyah Habeeb is left filled with dread upon learning that her kidnapper, Maggie, has no desire to hold her for ransom.

Instead, she is looking for retribution against her new fiance Spider Nugent. At the end of last week, Fans of the ITV soap saw things get scary for Toyah when a woman arrived at the flat to see her, introducing herself as Spider’s wife.

While Toyah made conversation, sister Leanne Battersby bumped into Spider and was shocked when he reveals his wife wasn't even in the country. Spider tried to phone Toyah and warn her the woman was an imposter and, clearly panicked, Toyah tried to act normally.

But when Leanne and Spider burst into the flat they found signs of a disturbance, with no Toyah or Sam Blakeman around, and blood on the floor.

Back to the start of next week and with his girlfriend still missing, Spider’s on a mission but he soon receives an ominous text telling him to follow instructions or Toyah will be killed.

Leanne, meanwhile, tells Nick Tilsley how Spider has banned her from involving the police as it could put Toyah’s life at risk. Having arrived at the waste ground, Spider sees the kidnapper has a gun and suddenly, a shot rings out.

Also next week, Elaine Metcalfe is mortified when Audrey Roberts tries to talk to her about her supposed depression. She instead confides in Audrey that she’s having doubts about Stephen Reid but her future mother-in-law assures her that her son loves her very much.
