Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon makes serious 'fashion statement' as she poses with rarely-seen son after 'procedure'

Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon showed off a bold new fashion statement as she headed out into Manchester for some family fun. The actress, who plays Maria Windass in the ITV soap, headed to the Manchester Opera House with her husband Sylvain Longchambon and their son, Yves.

The trio, who were without Samia's daughter Freya from her previous marriage, was at the press night for The SpongeBob Musical. The nautical nonsense of the cartoon characters has now been transported to the stage as a musical and our reviewer confirmed that it is just as bonkers if not more so that the small screen version.

Samia, Sylvain and Yves were seen posing for the waiting cameras before heading into the theatre to watch the bold and bonkers musical with innovative costumes and stagecraft, which is bulging with original songs by some of the world's biggest music acts.

Soap star Samia looked gorgeous as she stepped out in a Spring-ready floral gown. She paired the ankle-skimming dress with a pair of black trainers and matching leather jacket while she styled her blond locks into curls. Her Dancing on Ice star hubby cut a casual figure in a navy tee and grey jeans while Yves followed his dad's lead in a blue polo shirt, jeans and a basketball jacket.

Taking to Instagram once inside, Samia snapped a picture of the nautical-themed stage, which featured a winking Spongebob, and said: "@palaceandopera @spongebobstage been looking forward to this," alongside a big smiley face and love heart eyes emoji.
