Coronation Street fans work out Andy Whyment's 'next move' after personal update

Coronation Street star Andy Whyment found himself being tipped for a Strictly Come Dancing stint after he was seen letting lose in a new social media post.

The actor, who is famed for playing Kirk Sutherland in the ITV soap, is no stranger to a reality show having appeared in I'm A Celebrity... get Me Out of Here not once but twice having appeared last year in the show's first-ever spin off, I'm A Celebrity... Sotuh Africa.

Salford-born Andy also gave Dancing on Ice a go back in 2012 where he was paired up with professional skater Vicky Ogden and finished in sixth place.

But could Strictly be calling sometime soon? His fans seem to think so after he took to Instagram with a video in which he could be seen busting some moves to Missy Elliot's 2001 hit 'Get Ur Freak On'.

The soap star could be seeing sporting a grey rollneck top and jeans as he bounced around his living room with the person filming him giggling from behind the camera. Captioning the post, Andy wrote: "Me getting my freak on to Missy Elliott."
