Manchester United given eight fixture changes as Premier League confirms Christmas schedule

Manchester United's derby trip to the Etihad Stadium to face neighbours Manchester City in mid-December has been handed a new date following the announcement of the latest broadcast selections.

United were originally scheduled to make the short trip across the city on Saturday, December 14 for a 3pm kick-off, but will now face Pep Guardiola's side on Sunday, December 15. The contest, which will be screened live on Sky Sports, will kick-off at 4.30pm.

United, who last won at the Etihad in March 2021, have made each of their last four visits to the blue half of Manchester on a Sunday afternoon. Ahead of the trip the Etihad, it has been announced United's clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium has been moved to Wednesday, December 4, kicking-off at 8.15pm, and will be shown on Amazon Prime Video. The tussle in the capital will was originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 3.

United's clash with Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford three days later has also been moved after being selected for Sky Sports coverage. Originally scheduled to kick-off at 3pm on Saturday, December 7, it will now kick-off at the slightly later time of 5.30pm.

As far as the festive period is concerned, United's clash with AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday, December 21 remains the same and will kick-off in the traditional slot of 3pm.

The Reds' Boxing Day trip to Molineux to face Wolves has been handed a later kick-off time and will now get under way at 5.30pm instead of 3pm. It will be shown live on Amazon Prime Video.
