Coronation Street fans spot the same Asha and Aadi Alahan blunder as someone 'can't do their maths'
Coronation Street fans wasted no time in pointing out the same Asha and Aadi Alahan blunder as they claimed that someone 'can't do their maths'. During the first trip of the week to Weatherfield on Tuesday night (January 9), Dev Alahan was seen quizzing daughter Asha about her upcoming birthday.
The local businessman appeared keen to mark the occasion to which she told him she was hoping for something a bit more 'sophisticated' as she and twin brother Aadi prepared to turn 19. As her dad continued to chat while she tried to get on with her work, she told him she'd speak to Aadi about a family meal.
Soon after, Asha's girlfriend Nina Lucas arrived at the house and it wasn't long before she was also mentioning the upcoming celebrations. Nina asked Asha if she wanted to go away for the occasion to which she enthusiastically said they 'could do' but said she'd already promised to do something with her dad.

But with all the mention of Asha and Aadi's upcoming 19th birthday, Corrie fans were baffled as they believed they were a year younger that the soap's script suggested. The twins were born on January 13 2006, which makes them almost 18.
Talk of the Street, aka @corriepodcast, reshared a post from Corrie which read: "he Alahan twins turn 19 this week! Who remembers back to when they were born? #Corrie," and said: "Yep! 2006, wasn't it? ... WAIT A MINUTE!! #corrie."
@MikeBAGleeson asked: "Erm @itvcorrie can you explain how they’re 19 if they were born 18 years ago? #Corrie." @matt_johnson_89 replied: "Yep, I remember watching this in 2006, 18 years
