Coronation Street fans say 'I'm glad' as Mason and Liam stars seen amid horror bullying scenes

Coronation Street fans have been left pleased and relieved to see two of the soap's stars looking let they get on like a house of fire away from the cobbles. Charlie Wrenshall and Luca Toolan have been breaking viewers' hearts with the ITV show's bullying storyline.

Newcomer Luca's character Mason Radcliffe has been relentless in his bullying campaign against Liam Connor, played by Charlie, ever since his arrival on-screens last year.

The horrifying abuse has seen Mason pull a knife on Liam and recently led to the heartbreaking discovery that the struggling teen was contemplating taking his own life.
