Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather 2: Massive money discussed in two-fight deal

Rumours of a rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have been constantly circulating during 2022.

Mayweather, the undefeated, former multiple weight world champion has been involved in a number of exhibition bouts recently. McGregor, on the other hand, the first UFC fighter to hold championships in two weight classes simultaneously, has completed his rehabilitation after a serious leg break last year and is now focused on getting back into peak condition.

Back in 2017, their boxing match dominated the combat sports world with 4.3 million pay-per-views and generated over $550 million. The commercial success of the bout opened up the door for major crossover fights and a rematch has been rumoured ever since.
