Conor Benn gives pick in Amir Khan vs Kell Brook grudge match

Up-and-coming British boxer Conor Benn has given his prediction for Amir Khan vs Kell Brook as the two rivals prepare to face each other this weekend.

Boxing fans have waited the better part of a decade to see Khan and Brook finally face one another.

After years of back and forth with a fight never materialising, they'll step into the ring on Saturday at the Manchester Arena.

It's a fight that will likely be the last of both of their respected career's, which they both state they wish they'd had earlier in career, now at the age of 35.

However, there's still a high demand for the fight, with tickets sales selling out in just minutes - with over a million expected to buy the pay per view event on Saturday night.

Both Khan and Brook have suffered devastating losses in recent years, most notably both being on the end of heavy blows from Terence Crawford.

And ahead of the fight son of legendary UK boxer Nigel Benn, Conor has given his prediction.

Benn said: "It really is a 50/50 fight. It's been building for as long as I can remember.

"I started off thinking Kell Brook was going to win, but now I'm thinking Khan will win by a late stoppage.

"It's the same 50/50 fight it was 10 years ago in that Khan has the speed and high work rate, whereas Brook will rely on his timing and accuracy to catch Khan - it's the same narrative as it was 10 years ago.

"I would have favoured Brook five years ago because of his accuracy, but I think Khan could out work him and stop him with a body shot."

Khan is the bookmakers favourites to win at current, but Brook admitted that Khan is the 'a-side' of the two fighters.
