Collision closed road at Welsh town's roundabout

A road was closed in Haverfordwest after a single-vehicle road collision. The A40 was closed in both directions, resulting in tailbacks in traffic.

Dyfed-Powys Police said it took place at the A40 Scotchwell roundabout to Cardigan Road roundabout.

The road was closed for just over an hour.

A statement read: "Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a single-vehicle road traffic collision at Scotchwell roundabout today (April 16) at around 12.50pm.

"The road reopened at 2pm."
