Christine McGuinness admits 'I'd be lost' as she's flooded with messages after being seen with mum

Christine McGuinness has said she'd 'be lost' as she was flooded with messages about her own mum on Mother's Day. The model and TV personality took to social media to pay tribute to her mum, Joanne, as well as share a message to fellow mums on the special day on Sunday (March 10).

Christine took to Instagram to makr the occasion by sharing a string of snaps of herself and her mum together as well as photos of herself with her own children - twins Penelope and Leo and youngest daughter Felicity - who she shares with her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness.

"I'd be lost without my mum, I’d be lost if I wasn’t a mum," the 35-year-old started the caption of her post to her 730,000 followers. "Motherhood is a choice you make every day to put someone elses happiness and well-being ahead of your own. To teach the hard lessons, to try and do the right thing, even when you’re not sure what the right thing is!

"And to forgive yourself over and over again for doing everything “wrong”'. She continued: "Motherhood is amazing. And then it is really hard. And then it is incredible. And then it is everything in between. So, hold onto the good, breathe through the bad, and welcome the wildest and most wonderful ride of your life."

Christine then rounded off the sentimental post by writing: "I know today isn’t easy for everyone, sending lots of love and strength." And it didn't take long for her fans and followers to respond with many quick to compliment her and her mum.
