Christian Eriksen reveals favourite position at Manchester United
Christian Eriksen has revealed his favourite position to play in at Manchester United after trying out a number of roles in United's midfield so far this season.
Erik ten Hag's new summer signing has settled in quickly to life at United after signing for the club as a free agent. Eriksen has demonstrated his full range of passing in all six of his Premier League starts for the Reds, although his role within the side has taken a while to figure out. He also impressed in the 45 minutes he played against Real Sociedad.
An injury to Anthony Martial, and the lack of clarity over Cristiano Ronaldo's future, saw Eriksen play as a 'false nine' against Brighton for United's curtain-raiser this season. The move raised some eyebrows among fans, and the Dane has since returned to more familiar territory in the middle of the park.

Eriksen has now revealed his favourite position, and how he is settling into life at the club after playing in a variety of roles under Ten Hag since his arrival.
Speaking to the club, he said: “It’s been going better and better in every game. First of all, I’ve played every position I think in the first two or three games, and now to be a bit more in the same position has been good to be able to develop the game from there.
“And I think the team in general has done very well. It’s not only about me; everyone, even the guys who have come on [as substitutes] have really tried to give their best when they’re involved.
“I’m probably one of those players who would rather have the ball than go running after it, so I like to get close to the ball and try to open up the game a bit. At the same time I’ll play wherever the manager puts me and if he sees opportunities in
