However the rumours have moved up a notch now Ten Hag is on board. A report in the Daily Mail claims that the new United boss is a big fan of the Danish playmaker.
It stems from when Eriksen trained with Ajax before his move to Brentford. The midfielder was building up his fitness again after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing at Euro 2020.
Ten Hag is said to have been very impressed with his attitude and determination to play again. Since then Ten Hag has kept a close eye on his return to playing with the Bees.
