Chris Sutton savages Michael Beale as he brands him 'worst ever' Rangers AND Sunderland boss after axe falls again

Chris Sutton put the boot into Michael Beale yet again as he revelled in the former Rangers manager’s sacking at Sunderland.

The Londoner was only in charge of the Black Cats for 12 games before the axe fell as a a second job ended in managerial misery. Former Celtic strike hero and Record Sport columnist Sutton had a long-running spat with Beale during his time at the Ibrox helm. And Sutton took to social media after new emerged that Beale is on his way out of the Stadium Light. He said: “Sorry to see Mick Beale go… he may go down as Sunderland’s and Rangers worst ever manager and all in the same season…”

His savage takedown is in reference to Beale saying that Sutton was Chelsea’s worst ever player in reaction to criticism of him. Beale had said: “Growing up, I was a Chelsea fan. So there is one pundit around here who is the worst ever player to play for Chelsea. That is why I won’t mention his name - because I try to forget him.”

Sutton has responded on social media with the quote: “The dog barks but the caravan keeps moving on??” That is a reference to Caixinha who said that when criticism started to mount on his disastrous Rangers managerial stint."
