Chelsea ‘attractive to’ Sterling as Blues prepare opening £60m bid for Man City winger

A report on Tuesday claimed Sterling ‘considers his time at Manchester City to be over’ and the club are said to be willing to sell him for less than his market value, which stands at £76.5m according to Transfermarkt.

Sterling admitted his desire to play abroad midway through last season, with Real Madrid and Barcelona among the clubs he’s been offered to, as per that report.
But while City would prefer not to sell him to a Premier League rival, Chelsea were also among that group, and The Telegraph now claim that the west London club are in pole position to land the England international.
Given City want £50-£60m for Sterling, they may be limited to selling him to a direct rival and Chelsea are are said to be ready to make an opening bid.
