Chelsea: £88k-a-week star will now be 'incredibly relieved' at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount will be “incredibly relieved” to finally get off the mark against Aston Villa on Sunday, according to journalist Paul Brown.

The £88,000 per-week star had gone 14 games without scoring since netting at Leeds back in May, but finally ended his drought at Villa Park.

Mount has made a reasonable start to the campaign, registering five assists in his first 12 outings, including two in each of the wins over Wolves and AC Milan.

Including the domestic cups, Premier League and Champions League, Chelsea should still have around 35-40 fixtures left to play this season, so there's plenty of opportunities for Mount to keep
