Chelsea: £60m star 'doesn't see eye to eye' with Tuchel at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku and manager Thomas Tuchel do not see eye-to-eye, says journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The Belgian has had an unhappy time at Stamford Bridge since returning last August, and O’Rourke thinks it is best for all parties if he departs this summer.

After a difficult season, where he scored just eight league goals, it now looks like Lukaku wants a move back to Inter Milan almost a year after leaving them for Chelsea in a £97.5m deal.

And, according to The Guardian, the west London club are ready to sanction a loan if Inter offer the right amount of money for the 29-year-old, who is currently valued at £60m by the CIES Football Observatory.

Lukaku started his second spell in blue well, scoring three times in his first three league outings.

However, it all went downhill after that following a controversial interview with Sky Italia and an ankle injury.

O’Rourke thinks it is best if Lukaku and Chelsea go their separate ways this summer because of the player’s relationship with Tuchel.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: “I think Lukaku, from all the signs, it does seem that he would prefer to return to Inter Milan, where he had such a great spell before that big-money move to Chelsea.

“The move just hasn’t worked out for Lukaku. He doesn’t see eye-to-eye with Tuchel, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to be playing regularly under the Chelsea boss, so maybe it’s best for all parties if they part ways here and Lukaku can go back to Italy.”

The Guardian has also reported that Chelsea have Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus on their shortlist, so he could be an option to replace Lukaku if the Belgium
