Cheap theatre tickets to Rock of Ages, My Fair Lady and Lemons in Manchester this March

This March, the whopping 19-week run of Disney’s The Lion King finally draws to a close. It feels like the show has been in the city forever, dazzling audience members with more than 200 puppets - and it’s nearly time to wave it goodbye.

However, there is still time to catch the show before it ends at The Palace Theatre on March 11 - but tickets aren’t cheap. Earlier this week, the show was displaying as sold out, but there have been a handful of tickets released since, and the lowest priced available are £80.

More than 110,000,000 people have seen the show on stage, which uses 232 puppets and features five spoken African languages throughout.

However, when the show does bow out of Manchester, it makes way for a number of other, new shows, including Sara Pascoe and Seven Drunken Nights.

The next musical at Palace, though, will be My Fair Lady, following its critically acclaimed West End run. My Fair Lady will run for two weeks only, with tickets price from £13.

This production of Lerner & Loewe’s world-famous musical features the much-loved classic songs I Could Have Danced All Night, Get Me to the Church on Time, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, On the Street Where You Live, The Rain in Spain, and I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.

Meanwhile, Opera House also has a host of one-night events, such as The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight and The Psychology of Serial Killers - the latter of which has already sold out.

March 4 will bring LuAnna: The Big Night Out 2023, followed by an Encanto Sing-a-Long on March 5, and Menopause The Musical 2 on March 6.

From March 9 to March 12, theatre goers can enjoy ‘The Sound of Music meets Scary Movie’ for
