Chaos erupts in residential street as teenagers arrested after police spot 'suspected stolen bike'

Scenes of chaos and 'disorder' erupted on a residential street after two teenagers were arrested on Sunday night (August 4). Police clashed with furious locals who came marching out of their homes during the incident on Rosthwaite Close, in Middleton.

Officers stopped a 'suspected stolen motorbike' before the disturbance broke out. In footage shared on social media, a large number of police vehicles could be seen responding as the chaos escalated.

Parents could be heard shouting "he's 13, he's 13", and other young children were heard crying and screaming in the background as officers attended.
