Champions League draw live Man City and Arsenal learn quarter-final and possible semi-final opponents

Manchester City will discover who they will face in the quarter-finals and potentially the semi-finals of this season's Champions League this morning.

The draws will be conducted at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, at 11am UK time, opening up each of the eight remaining clubs' routes to the final at Wembley on June 1. The last-16 ties concluded earlier this week, with Arsenal joining City in the last eight after beating FC Porto on penalties.

City booked their place in the quarter-finals of the competition last week, beating FC Copenhagen 6-2 on aggregate. After winning the first leg 3-1 in Denmark, the Blues won the reverse meeting by the same scoreline to secure their route to the next stage.

City, of course, are looking to defend their European crown this season, but could be pitted up against any of Europe's big hitters in the upcoming draws. At this stage, the draws are completely unseeded, meaning anyone can face anyone.

There are several former Champions League winners participating in the draws this morning, including 14-time winners Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich are also in the hunt for their first Champions League crown since 2020, while Barcelona are going in search of their first crown since 2015. Between them, they have won the trophy 11 times in the past.

Borussia Dortmund have also clasped their hands around the famous trophy, lifting it aloft back in 1997.

City, too, of course, are winners of it themselves and are the current defending champions, winning it in June last year.
