Celtic transfer news bulletin as Mathias Kvistgaarden declares he is READY for move and goalkeeper path finally clears

Forward Mathias Kvistgaarden has declared he is ready to leave Brondby this summer amid Celtic 's long-standing interest.

The Danish striker has been on the Parkhead agenda throughout the last two transfer windows with an offer worth more than £4m reportedly knocked back 12 months ago. The 22-year-old has publicly stated that he did not hold any talks with the Scottish Premiership champions - but refused to close the door on a potential move to the club at some stage.

Clubs from across Europe are said to be on alert this summer with RB Salzburg joining Brendan Rodgers' side in the race - and Kvistgaarden has dropped his biggest hint yet that he could be on the move. The 36-year-old has been touted with a move to Celtic Park in reports south of the border - and has previously admitted he was considering all his options when pressed on a move to the Hoops. The Bosnian had been locked in talks with QPR over extending his stay at Loftus Road after his deal
