Celtic handed Hearts fixture switch as Sky snub Edinburgh derby again in Premiership live picks

Sky have announced their latest Scottish Premiership picks for live broadcast and the Edinburgh derby is back to being snubbed.

After plans to mic up Hibs boss Nick Montgomery had to be shelved for the December clash at Easter Road, the broadcaster has now chosen Motherwell's trip to Livingston on Wednesday 28 February as their live game, with the Hibees across town at Tynecastle to face Hearts on the same night. The broadcaster was forced to scale back the coverage of the last capital clash, which Hearts won 1-0, due to concerns of Montgomery's mic and a body cam that was due to be worn by assistant Sergio Raimundo.

After the derby was swerved on a number of occasions prior to the big push ahead of the festive fixture, it now seems as if fans will either have to get a ticket or buy a PPV stream in order to see the action. Meanwhile, Celtic's trip to Tynecastle has been pushed back.

The clash in the capital will now take place on Sunday March 3 with a 12pm kick-off. Brendan Rodgers' side will be looking for revenge after going down 2-0 to the Jambos at Parkhead last month.

It's a similar story the week prior for the champions, who will now head to Fir Park to play Motherwell on Sunday February 25, that one also has a 12noon kick-off.
