Celtic fans feel used by Ange as Peter Lawwell told to clear coaching decks – Hotline

Tottenham's confirmation of Ange Postecoglou as their new boss closed the book on the Australian's chapter at Celtic and Hoops fans continued to process their sense of loss.

It's now the fear of him plundering his former club which is their fear but there are two coaches who many would happily see follow Ange down south. Lance Little, Erskine, said: "I am feeling a mixture of sadness, disappointment, and disbelief. I also feel a sense of pride for having such a special individual as Celtic manager for two trophy-laden seasons. He will be sorely missed but I wish him all the best in his new challenge. Our loss is Tottenham's gain. Onwards and upwards and on to more Trebles and hopefully some special results in Europe."

Eddie Easson, Ballingry, said: "Losing Big Ange is a bitter pill to swallow. What the supporters need is a statement from Celtic. They want to know what the big man was offered by the board and exactly what he said. If John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan want to go they should show them the door. Once again Celtic appear to have been used by a manager but who can blame them? Every manager wants to be at the top table."
