Huddersfield forward Chris Hill is set to miss nine more weeks of action following his injury in the Challenge Cup final.

The England international prop forward left the field with a calf injury 20 minutes into the clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The 34-year-old was told that he will be sidelined for up to 10 weeks, bringing it down to nine following their win over Catalans over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Ian Watson welcomed back Will Pryce and Jake Wardle to his team that defeated the Dragons 22-14 in Perpignan.

It was Pryce’s first game back since his 10-match ban, having not been selected for their cup final.

Following their win on Friday, head coach Watson said: ““Will Pryce was great tonight, he always gives the team energy but I thought Jake Wardle, who hasn’t played for a while, his energy was superb but so were the other guys.”

Hull full-back Jake Connor is set for scans following the club’s golden point defeat to Wakefield on Sunday. The 27-year-old left the field seven minutes into the second half with a knee injury.

“It looks like his medial but we don’t know the extent yet,” said Hull coach Brett Hodgson. “We’ll have to get scans on it.”

He will be hoping to be fit to represent Combined Nations All Stars in a test against England on June 18 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Meanwhile, Trinity centre Reece Lyne will also be sent for x-rays to determine the extent of his ankle injury sustained just four minutes into the game.

Wigan centre Iain Thornley will miss up to six weeks of action after suffering an MCL injury.

The 30-year-old left the field in Wigan’s 32-12 win over Castleford on Saturday.
