England get the win as three Hull FC players feature for the Combined Nations All-Stars

In a flat contest, it was England who had enough about them in the first half to post two tries through impressive debutant Jake Wardle and then from under-fire half back George Williams.

Whilst intensity was lacking for the most part, Shaun Wane’s side were good value for their lead, and they continued to pull away in the second half with John Bateman adding a third try. Ken Sio got a consolation effort for the All-Stars, but in truth, and with three Hull FC players amongst them, they never looked like troubling the England team.

Chris Satae

The big Tongan prop, who also qualifies for Fiji, came on the field midway through the first half. He made his presence felt with a couple of carries and an offload.
