Casey hopes brace sets out stall for Six Nations action
Craig Casey was happy with his night's work after grabbing a brace in Munster’s demolition job on Dragons.
Johann van Graan’s side ran in ten tries against their hapless Welsh opponents, who have now lost nine in a row against Munster.
Casey and Gavin Coombes were released from Ireland’s mini-training camp this week to get some game time in the United Rugby Championship.
The scrum-half didn’t feature in the opening two games of the Guinness Six Nations but came on as a replacement in the 57-6 win over Italy last Sunday.
Asked if he was proving a point with his all-action performance in the 64-3 win, Casey told TG4: "You can say that but it’s all about getting back into the system and trying to play to the team’s ability, not trying to force your hand too much, that’s when things go wrong.
