De Allende returns among five Munster changes for Lions

Damian de Allende will tomorrow make his first Munster start since New Year's Day, as Johann van Graan's side complete their tour of South Africa against the Lions at Emirates Airlines Park (live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player).

The South African World Cup winner made his return from an abdominal injury off the bench last week, scoring a try in their 29-24 defeat to the Bulls in Pretoria.

He partners Chris Farrell in the centre, replacing Rory Scannell among five changes for the game in Johannesburg.

There is also a swap in the half-backs, as Jack Crowley comes in for Ben Healy at 10 to partner Neil Cronin.

Simon Zebo is rested, with Shane Daly taking his place on the left wing, to join Mike Haley and Calvin Nash in the back three.

John Ryan joins the front row, where he packs down alongside Niall Scannell and Josh Wycherley, while Fineen Wycherley and Jean Kleyn continue their familiar second row partnership.

Jack O'Donoghue captains the side once again at openside, as John Hodnett replaces Chris Cloete on the openside, with Alex Kendellen once again included at number 8.

A win for Munster would see them consolidate third place, and move within one win of leaders Leinster.

Munster: Mike Haley; Calvin Nash, Chris Farrell, Damian de Allende, Shane Daly; Jack Crowley, Neil Cronin; Josh Wycherley, Niall Scannell, John Ryan; Jean Kleyn, Fineen Wycherley; Jack O'Donoghue (C), John Hodnett, Alex Kendellen.

Replacements: Scott Buckley, Mark Donnelly, Keynan Knox, Eoin O’Connor, Chris Cloete, Paddy Patterson, Ben Healy, Liam Coombes.
