Cardiff City welcome Wigan Athletic to the Welsh capital this afternoon.

The Bluebirds are without a win in eight games in all competitions, however the Latics are enduring a rotten run of form themselves and both teams will be eyeing the three points today.

The Bluebirds have had to endure a bad bout of illness throughout the camp over the last fortnight or so and will have to take that into consideration today.

With a positive performance against Leeds United and the news that the transfer embargoes have been lifted, Mark Hudson will hope a win today will help to boost the mood around the club even further as they look to push away from the bottom three.
