Cardiff City manager search Live updates as Bluebirds face crunch week in boss hunt

Cardiff City are now into the second week of their new manager search and appear no closer to making an appointment.

Supporters made their feelings known ahead of the game against Millwall at the weekend, with a protest held voicing fan discontent aimed at the owner and board.

Defeat to the Lions left the Bluebirds in serious relegation danger, and with no manager in place and the transfer window closing in just over a week's time, things are now coming to a head.

Sam Allardyce remains the bookies' favourite to the top job, along with fellow veteran boss Neil Warnock, while former West Brom and Barnsley man Valerien Ismael has his admirers within the corridors of power at Cardiff City Stadium. For now, though, Dean Whitehead remains in temporary charge.
