Cardiff are growing increasingly hopeful of sealing a return for Ryan Giles this month.

Bluebirds boss Steve Morison has made little secret of his desire to bring Giles back to the capital, and it's understood the club remain optimistic about their chances of sealing a move.

Giles was recalled back to Molineux earlier this month, and was even named on the bench three times for Wolves, but is free to make a return to Cardiff as he didn't actually play a single minute.

Interest has come from several Championship clubs, but Cardiff insiders are hopeful that they have done enough to convince him to come back to south Wales.
