6 modern Man Utd flops as Anthony Martial prepares to join Sevilla

Anthony Martial is close to completing a loan move to Sevilla for the rest of the season.

The Manchester United striker told interim boss Ralf Rangnick he wanted to leave this month and is now set to be granted his wish.

Sevilla are understood to have agreed to pay Martial's wages of £200,000-a-week in full, although there is said to be no loan fee involved in the agreement between the two clubs.

The loan fee is understood to have been absorbed into the payment of Martial's wages, which equates to around £4million for the remainder of the campaign.

France striker Martial, who has made just seven appearances for United this season and who was signed for £36m from Monaco in 2015, is set to fly to Seville today to complete the deal.
