Cadwell BSB: Truelove snatches BSS win after Kennedy mistake

Harry Truelove has secured his first Quattro British Supersport win of the season after capitalising on a rare error by series leader Jack Kennedy during the opening race at Cadwell Park.

The Appleyard Macadam Yamaha rider looked destined to settle for second behind Kennedy’s Mar-Train R6 after the Irishman recovered from a poor start to reel Truelove in and overtake him for the lead.

Indeed, Kennedy’s mistake notwithstanding, it was a deserved victory for Truelove after leading for much of the race having grabbed the holeshot from second on the grid to storm into a healthy lead on lap one as rivals squabbled behind.

Despite dropping to fourth with his off-road excursion, Kennedy hustled his way back past both Perie
