Bwlch Road in Cardiff to be closed 'for some time' after late night collision - latest updates
Part of the Bwlch Road in Cardiff is closed this morning following a collision late last night (Tuesday January 31). The road is closed between Blaen Gwnfi and Cwm Parc Nantymoel as a result of the crash.
South Wales Police are at the scene of the incident and say the road is likely to stay closed "for some time". Road users are being urged to avoid the area and seek out different routes wherever possible.
In a tweet just before midnight on Tuesday, South Wales Police Control Room wrote: "We are at the scene of a collision on the Bwlch Road. The road is currently closed between Blaen Gwnfi towards Cwm Parc Nantymoel.
"It is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible."
Roads and traffic monitoring service Inrix said just after midnight: "A4107 in both directions closed due to accident from Blaengwynfi (Blaengwynfi) to A4061 Bwlch-Y-Clawdd Road (Cwmparc)."
