Bury Market stabbing puts three people in hospital as emergency services swarm town centre
Three people have been rushed to hospital after a reported stabbing in Bury town centre this afternoon (March 11). Police and paramedics have descended on Murray Road, near to Bury Market where a large cordon remains in place.
Three victims have been raced to hospital from the scene after an air ambulance was scrambled. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

An investigation has been launched into the serious incident. No arrests have yet been made, police said.
In a statement this afternoon, a GMP spokesperson said: “Greater Manchester Police are still responding to an incident on Murray Road, Bury.
“Officers remain at the scene to conduct further enquiries into what is believed to be a stabbing.
“The extent of the injuries sustained by three victims are thankfully not thought to be life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made at this time.
“Anyone with information that may help is asked to call 101 quoting incident 1338 of 11/03/2024."
