Bills, Dion Dawkins reach 3-year contract extension - ESPN

The Buffalo Bills have signed three-time Pro-Bowl left tackle Dion Dawkins to a three-year extension through the 2027 season, it was announced Monday.

The deal is worth $60.5 million, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. It is expected to make Dawkins the fourth highest-paid tackle in the league.

Dawkins, 29, has been with the Bills since being selected in the second round of the 2017 draft. He has made Pro Bowl appearances in each of the past three seasons and has started 106 of the 112 games in which he's appeared for the Bills.

He made headlines this past season for his involvement in a postgame scuffle with the New York Jets after Buffalo's 32-6 victory on Nov. 19, saying Michael Clemons was trash-talking quarterback Josh Allen and calling out other players.

«He went down the whole team, everybody on the field, pointing at us and just yapping his beat,» Dawkins said after the season. «What am I supposed to do? I'm the OG. I've been on this line for the longest. I'm the one that's going to punch you in your face.»
