Brooke Vincent addresses Coronation Street return as she says what would be 'devastating'

Brooke Vincent has spoken about her exit from Coronation Street and whether she would return as she takes on new challenges away from the cobbles. As fans will know, the actress is famed for playing Sophie Webster in the ITV soap.

Brooke's exit from Weatherfield came ahead of the birth of her first child, Mexx, who was born in October 2019. Then, in May 2021, Brooke gave birth to her second son, Monroe, with her footballer fiancé Kean Bryan.

The play will tell the story of five supermarket workers whose lottery syndicate numbers come in just as their jobs and livelihoods are under threat. It is being directed by Kay’s daughter and former Emmerdale actress Gaynor Faye in her late mum's name.

Brooke is playing Amy, the sister-in-law of supermarket assistant Jamie, who will be played by Gaynor's son Oliver Anthony in his theatrical debut after singer
