Brock Lesnar's WWE deal expiring allowed for fantastic Roman Reigns decision

Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract expiring in 2020 allowed for Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman to be paired together as an on-screen act.

Reigns was off TV for the majority of the summer of 2020, having taken some time away from WWE at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

When he came back, Roman was portrayed as a heel for the first time as a singles star, which along with his new partnership with Paul Heyman, turned him into the megastar that we all know and love today.
