Daniel Cormier: Will UFC Hall of Famer face Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel?
Daniel Cormier is not expected to face Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel, despite rumours to the contrary.
Over the weekend, Ariel Helwani announced that Cormier will be involved with WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view on October 8.
The UFC Hall of Famer will serve as the special guest referee for the Fight Pit match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle, leading to speculation that he’s going to be working more with WWE moving forwards.
Helwani reported that Cormier will be the special guest referee for the highly-anticipated match this weekend, and fans have speculation that this could open the door to DC having an in-ring run with WWE.

With Crown Jewel taking place on November 5, and Brock without an opponent for the show, rumours have circulated this weekend that the two former UFC stars could square off inside a WWE ring.
