Football clockwatch: Join Barry Glendenning for updates from around the grounds at today’s afternoon kick-offs.

Championship: It’s scoreless between Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City at Ewood Park, but in good news for the hosts, Bradley Dack has just come on for his first appearance after almost exactly a year out with injury.

Championship: On loan from Aston Villa, Keinan Davis scores his second goal of the game to make it Nottingham Forest 2-0 Reading.

Championship: Callum O’Hare scores his second in quick succession to make it Coventry City 3-1 Sheffield United.

League One: An eyecatching latest score from Hillsborough, where Guardian Football Weekly podcast presenter Max Rushden’s beloved Cambridge United are being walloped 6-0 by Sheffield Wednesday.

Championship: Coventry City have gone 2-1 up against Sheffield United, with Callum O’Hare scrambling the ball over the line from close range.

Brentford 0-0 Burnley: Sergio Canos crosses the ball, Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope comes for it but doesn’t get it and Vitaly Janelt heads over an empty goal. Oh Vitaly!

Jurgen Klopp speaks: “I like to watch Brighton a lot, I don’t like playing against them because they are really good,” said Liverpool’s manager in an interview with the BBC. “We knew we could cause them problems as well; what I really like about Graham [Potter] and his team is you can really tell how they prepare for an opponent. Championship: Dominic Solanke scores in the fifth minute
