Brendan Rodgers sees greatest Celtic achievement crowned by the Jury as Rangers rebuild mapped out

Scott Burns: It is a title win. Any title win is big. There was pressure on the Celtic manager this time and he has delivered. It is decent but some way behind his Invincibles campaign.

Andy Newport: Going his first season in Scotland undefeated probably still takes top spot but there’s no doubt this has been his closest contest after that mid-season wobble allowed Rangers back in to it.

Michael Gannon: It’s up there with the Invincible campaign given some of the hurdles Rodgers has had to overcome this term. Rodgers produced a managerial masterclass in the last few months of the campaign.

Scott Burns: Jack Butland is one and Rangers could maybe get their money back on Cyriel Dessers but I don’t see too many others, unless James Tavernier and Connor Goldson get offers from Saudi Arabia.

Andy Newport:Philippe Clement has already made clear to the Ibrox board Jack Butland cannot be sold at any cost but given there’s not much else available to raise cash he might just have to rethink that one if a silly offer comes in. Gers desperately need the funds for a significant rebuild.

Michael Gannon: Rangers need to keep their best players like Butland – not flog them. It won’t be easy for Clement to assemble a new look side with Celtic’s financial advantage, but this is where Nils Koppen will earn his corn. Gers will need unearth top class bargains.

Scott Burns: I suspect that St Johnstone will end up in the play-off. Ross County are ahead of them and know their destiny is in their own hands.
