Two main roads in Oldham are closed off this morning due to a 'police incident'.

Oldham Way and Middleton Road have been shut off, according to traffic alert service Inrix. Oldham Way is closed in both directions from Manchester Street to Chadderton Way.

Middleton Road is shut below Oldham Way. The nature of the police incident has not yet been confirmed.
