LIVE: Huge emergency services response as residential street taped off - latest updates
A street has been cordoned off in Salford this afternoon following a police incident. Witnesses have told the Manchester Evening News how police and ambulance crews rushed to Graythorpe Walk, Salford, around 2pm.
Emergency services are still in attendance. A local resident described how a number of paramedics rushed to the scene. This was quickly followed by a number of police arriving, who remain in attendance.
Pictures taken on Graythorpe Walk show the road remaining taped off with a number of officers in attendance. GMP and the North West Ambulance Service have been approached for more information. A reporter is on their way to the area to bring live updates.
