BREAKING: Road shut off as emergency services at scene of 'house fire' - latest updates

A road has been shut off in north Manchester as emergency services respond to a fire.

Police and fire crews are at the scene on Moston Lane after a 'house fire' reportedly broke out.

The road has been shut off from Melbourne Street to Clough Road and Ashley Lane, Transport for Greater Manchester said in a tweet.

A picture taken at the scene shows police blocking the road from two sides.

Several fire engines can be seen within the road block.

Diversions are in place on several Stagecoach and Go North West services.

The M.E.N has contacted Greater Manchester Police and the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service for information.
