A large police scene in in place in Bolton as officers respond to an incident this morning.

Several streets off Halliwell Road are currently taped off with officers at the scene. Police descended on Haliwell Road in the early hours of the morning (September 11).

Eyewitnesses reported seeing several police vehicles in attendance along with paramedics earlier today. A reporter is on his way to the scene.
