BREAKING: Man United make major announcement as £666m boost explained
Manchester United have announced the results of their fourth quarter trading period for the year ended June 30, 2025.
United have reported revenues of £164 million for the fourth quarter, which contributes to record revenues for 2025 of £666.5m.
Those revenues were made during a period in which United finished in 15th place in the Premier League, their worst performance in the competition since it was created in 1992.
Due to their competing in the Europa League, the final of which they lost to Tottenham Hotspur, United saw broadcasting revenues slump by £50m to £173m given their participation in the Champions League the season before.
United expect an improvement to retail and merchandise revenues and a slight uplift in broadcasting revenues given an increase in Premier League broadcasting money offsetting the absence of the club from UEFA competition this season.
Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.

The club also added that it 'remains committed to, and in compliance with, both the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules and UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulations'.
“As we settle into the 2025/26 season, we are working hard to improve the club in all areas," CEO Omar Berrada said.
"On the field, we are pleased with the additions we have made to our men’s and women’s first team squads over the summer, as we build for the long-term. Off the field, we are emerging from a period of structural and leadership change with a refreshed, streamlined
