BREAKING: Major Manchester road shut after crash - latest updates
A major Manchester road has been shut this afternoon following a crash. Wilbraham Road, in Whalley Range, was cordoned off by police on Sunday afternoon (August 28).
The nature of the incident is not yet known, but a bike has been pictured within the cordon. Greater Manchester Police are at the scene conducting an investigation and have been approached for more information.
The road has been closed off between Alexandra Road South, Claremont Road and Princess Road. There are diversions in place for drivers and on public transport.
Officers from the serious collisions unit are also present and conducting investigations and placing evidence markers in the road.
