BREAKING: Forensic tent in place on street with police on scene - latest updates

A forensic tent is in place on a street this Tameside this morning following a serious incident.

Pictures show the tent erected on Grange Road North in Hyde. A stretch of the street is cordoned off with police tape.

According to eyewitnesses, police officers have been on the scene since the early hours. At least one police vehicle remains on the scene this morning.

The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed. Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for details.
